Whether you're sauntering along nature's paths or swimming upstream through crowded city streets, your Jasper Satchel will be a trusted companion for all of your adventures. It looks great, feels comfortable, and protects your precious gear with lots of pockets for organizing accessories. It can be worn as a traditional shoulder bag or cross-body "courier style" through the use of various strap anchor points. The beautiful fabric and semi-soft construction give this satchel the feeling of home. YKK zippers add to its professional-grade construction.
The Jasper Satchel's main flap can be opened from two places. Either undo the two metal buckles and fold the main flap up and open, or access the main camera compartment directly through the top zipper. Additionally, a small, zippered compartment on the outside of the flap is a great place for fast access to your phone, a small notebook, or most loved filter.
On the front of the Jasper Satchel, behind the main flap is a well-laid accessory area. It is full of small pockets for filters, optical cleaning pens / pens for writing and a small clasp to connect a key ring to. Expansion gussets allow this area to bulge a bit when it is filled.
The back of the bag sports a luggage handle pass-through strap which is especially helpful for travel. You will also find a slender compartment along the entire length and width of the satchel's back with 3 accessory pockets inside of it. This is a great place to store a trail map, filters, cable release and other slim items. This pocket can be accessed without having to open the rest of the satchel and it employs a small magnetic closure. An integrated hand strap blends-in beautifully along the top, rear of the Jasper Satchel and gives you a firm place to grab the bag by hand when you need to.
Two pockets on the bag's sides provide more places to stash important items like a small water bottle, macro focusing rail, snack bars, and more. These side pockets have an elastic band to hold their openings closed.
A tripod harness can be found on the bottom of the Jasper Satchel. The tripod harness uses quick release buckles for fast removal or insertion of the tripod. With the bag's shoulder strap attached "courier style" you can sling the satchel behind your back and carry a compact tripod (like a ProMaster XC-M 522) quite well. The tripod harness can be removed from the bag when you prefer not to use it.
