How are the classes structured?
1:1 Classes are completely customized to what you want to learn. Prior to your session, your instructor or an employee will reach out to you to gather a bit of information to make sure everyone is on the same page. This includes the camera you shoot with, common lenses you use, and what issues/topics you want to focus the class around.
Classes are $30 for 30 minutes and $45 for 1 hour.
Who is teaching? Can I choose my instructor?
You can find a comprehensive list of our instructors on our classes page! At the top of the page is a link to view a pdf of all the available instructors and their 'fortes'! Just because an instructor doesn't have a certain skill listed, doesn't mean they don't know or can't find out the answer to your questions.
You can choose any instructor you want at the location that is most convenient for you. To sign up for their classes, our class page has their photo and their available times.
How do I Sign Up?
Check out our classes section of our website for guaranteed dates and times to see the instructor of your choice. Do none of these days or times work for you? Give us a call or visit us in store to see if there's another date or time that works out better. Since the majority of our staff are full-time, we are usually available at least 4-5 days a week! Classes are charged per person -- if you want to take the class with a friend, we would charge for two admissions for a time slot.
What Should I Bring?
Bring your camera, lens, and a notepad if that helps!
Cancellations or Returns?
You may cancel 24 hours ahead of time, if you do not cancel within 24 hours, your class fee will be available to you as in-store credit only -- no refunds. If you end up cancelling before 24 hours, you may receive a refund.
